This replacement hose is a direct plug-and-play solution for Sunneday Retractable Hose reel models: XW-30B, XW-30S, and XW-40S. Please note that if you are using this hose for the XW-40S model, the length will be shorter than the original 130ft, as that unit uses a 1/2" hose, while this replacement is a 5/8" hose measuring 100ft.
The hose comes with everything you need to complete the replacement process. The inner drum water inlet is pre-assembled on the hose, making the replacement a simple two-screw procedure. To begin, first remove the hose's ball stopper from the end and take it out of the hose guide. Then, pull the hose all the way through the access panel top and engage the side lock.
Using a long Phillips screwdriver, remove the white water inlet from the drum. Next, slide the replacement hose through the hose guide from the top of the access panel and attach the stopper ball. Feed the hose all the way through the hose guide until the water inlet end can be re-screwed down to the inner drum.
Release the side lock to unlock the position. Hold the hose in one hand, creating tension, and start the rewind process. It is crucial to maintain tension on the hose and ensure that it lays flat against the drum for each row. Do not let the hoses over-coil each other. Walk the hose in and out a few times to train it and ensure a smooth reeling process.
This replacement hose is designed to be flexible, allowing it to wrap up inside the Sunneday Hose Reels seamlessly. Please refer to the product description for detailed instructions on the replacement process.
